Association of Private Dental and Medical Colleges of Madhya Pradesh conducts DMAT Exam for admission to Dental, Medical, BPT,BSc Nursing and other allied paramedical courses in private colleges in the state of Madhya Pradesh. This is an undergraduate common entrance eligibility test and therefore the eligibility for candidates is class 12 in science stream from MP Board of Secondary Education Board or CBSE. This exam consist of one common question paper with subjects of Physics, Chemistry or Biology (Botany/Zoology).Applicants would be called for counselling based on MP DMAT test score.

MP DMAT UG 2017 Eligibility Criteria:-

Age Limit:-

No candidate shall be admitted to a Medical/Dental College / BPT/ B.Sc. Nursing and other allied paramedical courses until he/she has completed or will complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.

Educational Qualification:-

For admission to MBBS/BDS:-

Those candidates who have passed the qualifying examination of 10+2 from Board of Secondary Education M.P. or CBSE having passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects individually and have  secured  at  least  minimum  50%  marks  in  Physics,  Chemistry  and  Biology  combined  together  and  must  have passed in English also.
OR
Those who have passed any equivalent or higher examination with the aforesaid subjects from any other recognized Board, University with the percentage of marks as mentioned above.
OR
Any other qualification recognized by Govt. of India / Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India as recognized qualification for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses.

For admission to BPT, BOT, B.Sc.  Nursing, and other Allied Paramedical Courses  

Those candidates who have passed The qualifying Examination of 10+2 from Board Secondary Education M.P. or C.B.S.E. having passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject individually are eligible for admission. For admission to B.Sc. Nursing Courses Candidate must have passed in English also.
OR
Those who have passed any equivalent or higher examination with above said subjects from any other recognized Board/ University.
OR
Any other qualification recognized by relevant Council of India as recognized qualification for admission to above Courses.

MP DMAT UG 2016 Application Form / Registration:-
 
Application Forms will also be available from DMAT Office and participating Colleges by post for an additional amount of 
Rs. 200/- as postal charges.
 
Candidates have to submit Demand Draft of Rs. 3000/- in favour of APDMC, Bhopal.
 
Application Forms can also be downloaded from 10/04/2016 from our website and may be submitted  alongwith a Demand Draft of Rs. 3000/- in favour of APDMC, payable at Bhopal. Application Form No.  will be allotted by DMAT Office on receipt of Application.
 
NOTE: - Candidates applying for BPT/BOT/B.SC. NURSING AND OTHER PARA MEDICAL COURSES are not required to 
submit examination fee alongwith the application. Candidates who have downloaded Application Form for these courses 
from website are required to send Bank Draft of Rs. 1500/- only with Application Form.

MP DMAT UG 2017 Syllabus:

Syllabus for the MP DMAT UG 2017 will be same as that of class XII of CBSE or of 10+2 of the Madhya Pradesh State Board for the academic year 2016-17 or equivalent examination, for Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

MP DMAT UG 2017 Paper Pattern:-

The DMAT-2017 exam  will consist of one common question paper of 3 hours duration in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) consisting of 200 multiple choice questions where subject wise distribution will be as under:

  • Physics - 50 Questions
  • Chemistry - 50 Questions
  • Botany - 50 Questions
  • Zoology - 50 Questions


All questions are compulsory hence the candidate is expected to attempt all the questions. Out of four bubbles provided against each question on the answer sheet; the candidates will have to darken only one bubble by using Black Ball Point Pen. For each correct answer one mark will be awarded.

There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers, scratching,overwriting,tick marks, erasers, whiteners and multiple answers and use of any pencil, pen other then Black Ball Point Pen will be awarded no marks.
